Mugen tumbled around in the landing form his leap of faith. He couldn’t his plan actually worked and brought down the leader completely, but there also another he was accurate on the rage of the twins. He didn’t expect them to become so hateful that can change colors, it wasn’t looking for Mugen. But, the Marine was at the right time for the plan, and he managed to get one of the twins off the warpath. However, there was still one left that was heading right Mugen when he’s down. Mugen had to roll down to the side a bit and then having to get up again. The one of the twins was still relentless on trying to kill Mugen and he is ready to deal out the deed.
The twin stomped and lunge at Mugen trying to grasp hold of him. Mugen was barely even dodging the blows even as he got up he was on the defensive. At this point he heard the Marine shouting to him, and Mugen was kind of relieved but he still had to deal with one of the raged twins. With each dodge Mugen, he was closer and closer to a wall behind. He knew it would mean certain death if he gets trapped in any way, but there was still hope. He saw an opportunity present itself with the twin made a power lunge, but after using the trick twice it may be ineffective. It was better than nothing not to try it. He is going to use the twin’s forceful power once again.
This time, Mugen had to roll along the side of the twin’s arm to get a new attack, the twin’s back. From the roll, he would use his left leg to kick his back, the main goal was to implant into the wall. However, in the aftermath it was completely ineffective and the twin wasn’t fazed by the attack. It wasn’t looking at all for Mugen, and he was looking frantically for anything that can work against this beast of a man. Mugen he can put up an ok defense, but he didn’t have the attack power. He was weaponless, but there had to be something worth using.
Before even a second thought, the twin charged at Mugen yet again. But, the twins charged, another idea finally hit Mugen. What if the twin was calm again and if by then, could he defeat him? He needed some time to think through, so now Mugen has to use the same trick a fourth time. This time, Mugen charged at the twin, and his aim was to slide down and removing whatever balancing the twin had by tripping him. Hopefully a chance of a face first hit to the floor, can give Mugen breathing room.

Struggling in a stalemate with his back to the wall, Zambezi didn't consider his chances all that great. If he wanted to make sure the kid was safe, he needed to knock this man out quickly. But every strike he'd made so far seemed just to make him more angry. It wasn't like they were ineffective - he could see bruises and swelling already - but at the same time it wasn't enough. He needed to deal a knock out blow in one hit. He knew it was possible - there were a couple of weaker areas around the body. Even if he was too pissed off to notice pain, that didn't change that fact. But Zambezi needed room to breathe first. Fighting between a rock and a hard place wasn't exactly advantageous. Staring down his opponent however, he tensed himself. He was going to make this quick.
Suddenly relaxing, he twisted himself one way whilst his hands still grasped the man's arms. The result was that the man was sent flying forwards by his own strength, launching him head-first painfully into the wall. A wound opened up on his head, causing blood to trickle down from his forehead. Zambezi quickly backed away for some breathing space. Now he was ready. Watching the man push himself away from the wall, he lunged forwards to attack. But Zambezi was quicker. At the last moment he side-stepped the man's reckless lunge forwards and swung his fist around. Connecting with the man's temple, the man dropped to the ground from the force, knocked unconscious. Zambezi let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He doubted the man was dead, but a blow to the temple like that was a dangerous thing.
Truth was, Zambezi still felt sore after all that fighting. Running around and dodging, as well as taking hits and dishing them out, he'd exhausted himself. Turning towards the kid and the other twin, he frowned as he saw he wasn't defeated yet. "I can't keep fighting like this. I only just barely handled myself there - I need you to beat him, or at least give me a few minutes!" he thought to himself as he looked towards the kid. It felt shameful letting this civilian have to fight for himself, but he was barely even standing at this point. Leaning himself against a wall, his knees weak, he took deep breaths. This needed to end quickly.

He was almost out of breath, all Mugen did was dodge but moving can take a lot out of a person and demanded stamina. But, at least for now he had some breathing room and there it was when Mugen looked at the main counter. The answer to his question, the way to make these twins relaxed is get them drunk enough to pass out and luckily enough Mugen was in a bar after all. The trouble was to get keep both twins in place to place the booze intake for them. To makes things worse, the twin he just tripped is about to get up again. There was some hope for his plan the Marine shouted to Mugen that he one of the twins down, but Mugen knew he couldn’t take the risk of not doing for both of the twins. Something must be done now.
He spotted the old silver tray Mugen threw before, and decided to that dented to use again. He placed on the side of the twin’s head as he rushed as fast as legs could give him to the other side of the room. It’s step up or shut up, as he charged forward his target was the tray. He huffed and puffed as he ran and then he slid trusting his leg against the tray that was by the twin’s head. It was hard enough hit to make that tray into a deep bowl as hit against the twin’s head. However, from the run Mugen couldn’t get up.
He was grasping for air, trying to get his composure again to try to speak to the Marine. He had to inform the Marine about his plan or they may face an even angrier force on their hands. “Get . . . THE ALCHOL! Must . . . get them . . . SLEEP!” He was tired and needed time for himself to recover, but at least is still topside. Mugen is gambling everything on him, to get these overgrown children a well-deserved nap. Even at this moment, Mugen tries to pick his body from the wooden floor and the last thing the both of them needed was for the twins to get back up or even worse, these thugs had more people on their way.

"Is he serious? Get him drunk at a time like this?" the Marine wondered, panting as he looked back to the twin. He really wasn't going down. Zambezi could try a quick attack and knock him out, but in his condition it was a risky gamble. It didn't help that this kid hadn't done much damage to him - most of it had been self-inflicted from reckless charging, but even so there was a limit to how much you could injure yourself. It wasn't a good position, even if the numbers were finally in Zambezi's favour. He grit his teeth. There was no way he could get the guy drunk - the only way he could finish this was to take him down. Maybe he couldn't knock him out, but maybe if he could restrain him, he could keep him from doing any more harm.
"My name is Petty Officer Zambezi Long! Give up now and I might lessen your punishment" Zambezi yelled out loud. The twin, now back on his feet, turned his attention away from the kid and towards the Fishman. Perfect. Standing his ground, he pushed himself away from the wall to stand on his own two feet, his arms raised as if he wished to fight. The twin glowered and charged full force. This was going to be a close one. As the man came close, he swayed just out of the way as both his arms began to move. One took hold of the man's wrist whilst the other moved around and pushed down on his shoulder. Twisting his arm around, Zambezi now had him down on one knee, restrained by his twisted arm. But he was still trying to force his arm free, and in his weakened state Zambezi wasn't sure he could hold him forever and tried his best to keep his arm twisted.
"If you have a plan, I suggest you do it right now!".

Finally getting his second win, Mugen picked himself right back up again. Now, it’s just finding what needed for his plan, he was limping from the right leg because of the last attack he made. But he couldn’t focus on the injury right now and he had to hurry to the brewery that was behind the counter. To what make matters the second twin is up again it was nothing but stubbornness and tenacity coming from those two. He hoped that Marine can hold his own until Mugen can the preparations complete and funnily enough he even introduced himself to the twins, Zambezi.
Once he arrived at his destination, he took a pipe that was connected to the sink and he took the nearest barrel of alcohol he could find. After his collected the needed items, he had to return to take of the twins for good this time. But, as to what he saw was Zambezi struggling to keep both of the twins in check as he shouted out to Mugen of the dire situation. Mugen did the best could of the mobility had to return and now it was to time to put the plan into effect. The very first thing Mugen noticed was one of the twins clinching his mouth and Mugen knew there’s one more to fix that.
He put the barrel down for now, but he now has a weapon and willing to use it. Mugen exhaled a deep sigh to beside for a moment because he didn’t think that he would use this method to win, but there was no time for arguments now. Mugen grasped on the pipe with both hand tightly, and rammed that piece of steel into the abdomen of the twin. Now, the last Mugen checked was that this was a human, not a walking piece of steel and knows he had to grasp out for air at least from that strike.
Once Mugen sees that opportunity, he opens up the valve to the barrel and hauls to the twin’s mouth. All that’s needed from there is chug, chug, and chug some more. To reinforce some moral to Zambezi, he said in a slightly tone, much different. “Whatever you do…don’t let go.” He was tired, and really needs to take break but he can’t stop now. Not while these twins are still able to fight.

"Easier said than done..." the Fishman thought to himself, straining to restrain the man. How damn strong was this guy? Nevertheless, he bore with it, putting all of his strength into keeping the man's arm twisted so that he couldn't move. He wasn't exactly fond of waiting for the young man to finish doing whatever he was doing, but quickly enough the kid was back again, this time smashing in the man's stomach with a pipe. The man gasped, and all of a sudden the kid forced a tube down his mouth and let the booze flow. The man choked and gagged for a few minutes, but in desperation began swallowing the booze. In a matter of minutes, he settled down before collapsing on the ground, adrift in a drunken slumber. Zambezi released him, wiping his brow.
"I'll have to take these men in. Under arrest for assaulting a Marine officer" he muttered, watching as the doors swung open. A couple of other Marines began tending to the people, gathering reports of what had happened and most importantly began handcuffing the thugs. Letting out an annoyed sigh, shaking his head at the sight, he turned his gaze back towards the kid. "For assisting a Marine in his duty, I'll thank you. If it had been myself on my own, I don't think I could have taken them. Especially with how slow this lot has been" he remarked, irritably looking back at the other Marines as they took the thugs away. "What is your name?".

The job was done, all thugs resting and accounted for and Mugen pretty beat after taking care of the twins. His body was weak from standing and he was still huffing and puffing. He was just glad it was all over. He hopped on over back to the main counter once more to salvage a bottle of club soda, and from there he will simply sit down against the counter. He leaned back on the wood as he was trying to open the bottle. He looked at Zambezi’s progress on arresting the thugs and the Marine even thanked Mugen for his help with the troublemakers. He laughed to himself and he had to respond to this. “I did nothing big really. I just did what anyone else would do, help your fellow person.”
He cracked open the bottle and took a good drink of it. He felt pretty accomplished, like he felt he truly earned this. However, his attention was caught by Zambezi again and this he wants to know Mugen’s name. Come to think, he didn’t really introduced himself in the entirety of the fight. So, Mugen thought he might as well introduce himself; he did get involved in a big way after all. “Me? Well, I’m Mugen Sh-rudo, just a son of a local blacksmith and shipwright.” He laughed a bit more after what he said and he just felt so good right now. Bad guys were stopped, captured, taken away and Mugen managed to get his drink back. It was a good day, not one many see from time to time, but it is how the normal life goes.

"Mugen Shi-rudo" he repeated, familiarizing himself with the name. A simple name - Shi-rudo sounded close enough to "Shield". "I'll remember that" he told the kid. After today and how the kid had helped him defeat those thugs, there was no way he'd forget about the kid, much less his name. Picking up his fallen cap, he affixed the article of clothing back upon his head of messy, unkempt blonde hair (Now even more messy and unkempt than it had been when he walked in) and looked back to the kid. For the son of a blacksmith, something so very common around the island of Kilaueu, he couldn't help but find him interesting. There was something unique about this kid, in any case. Raising a webbed finger, he pointed to the kid as if to hold his attention.
"Now, I don't want to sound like one of those guys who go around recruiting people, but with that kind of attitude, you'd make a great Marine. Of course, whether or not you choose to be one, I want you to promise never to abandon that attitude. World needs more people like that, rather than those guys" he gestured a thumb to the thugs being led out the pub. Turning on his heels, the Fishman began to walk back out the pub, intending to head back with these thugs to the ship and take a good, long rest. He'd have these bruises in the morning, he knew. Still, he'd met an interesting kid. He'd be one to watch out for - as he said, he was a good guy. With an attitude like that, he'd be a credit to whomever he worked with. Leaving the pub, he let the door shut behind him as he walked back to the ship, his duty done.

Mugen took another drink from the bottle and it was almost as satisfactory as the last he drank. He was also trying to pump some life into his body again and revitalize himself. He was sitting there, just relaxing as the Marines pulls out all the unconscious bodies. As the last of the bodies were about to be taken out, Zambezi catches Mugen’s attention again with a suggestion. That was to join the Marines, because of Mugen’s attitude he brought to the table. He thought on that for a minute, but it didn’t seem like the perfect profession he had in mind. Mugen did heed one thing on what Zambezi said, to never change and that’s something Mugen always chosen to be. He was smiling and felt urged to respond to Zambezi maybe for the last time.
“Will do!” He said in a cheerful manner and with that he drank the last drop of the bottle of club soda he was holding. The Marines recent left with prisoners in tow, his drink, and the night has begun and it was time to go home. Once he made his way out of the bar, he was shocked to see the regulars of the bar still outside. They stared at Mugen for a bit, until Mugen a heard a single clap and eventually it turned into a small applause. He couldn’t believe it, they were thanking him and everything and all Mugen could do was simply wave. He managed to hop on through the crowd until he got the feeling of his leg back. Then, it was simple depart as Mugen laid eyes on the trail home. The moon was rising the day was about to come to its end, and the cycle goes into clockwork once more.
He did wonder about something, it’s the same thing he always thought of. Can he really become something bigger than he was? Will he matter to someone so immensely? Such thoughts of a typical young adult, but as long he won’t give up and be himself, he’ll be just fine.
