Lysander slowly trudged down the dock, his boots thunked against the wooden boards which lined the entire length. Each step sending a rugged vibration through the supports, the man inside on a mission and one he considered of importance. He had been separated from a ship and crew for far too long. His injuries long healed physically, but mentally he was deemed unstable. He was done waiting. His unsanctioned hat and black over-cloak weren't a part of his uniform but he wasn't on duty, for now he was off and would soon find his way once more.
Boarding a vessel used for trading, the lone Marine made his way to a nearby crate and took a seat on its edge. His eyes briefly flashed out from beneath the broad brim of his hat, giving a thankful nod to the captain. The man nodded back before continuing his work with the navigator. Winter wasn't sure where he would find what he needed to find, but he was headed West for now to find someone. He had heard slight rumors but had little faith in them for now.
His patience was well earned, as it had to be to become someone of the ocean. A long time was spent waiting for something to happen, time of the current spent on maintaining a running vessel, Winter had no option here but to help in such in exchange for passage. As the ship left the dock, the Marine turned to the dock and saluted quietly, going back to his work.

The travel was rough, the sea high and mighty while the wind and sky above vicious and unrelenting against the smaller vessel. The crew on board struggled near the entire journey to bring her through the other side and out into an open clearing, away from the immediate dangers they had just faced. Their Captain yelled orders from above, his voice rolling through the air like thunder while all the men scurried about to their positions. Wave after wave battered the ship, the slick water sliding onto the wooden surface, sweeping men and taking possessions with it to the other side of the ship. Winter had put in his fair share, and taken an even fairer beating, debris thrown from waves had crashed into him while the occasional wave was strong enough to release his titan grip.
Eventually it calmed, the thunder rolled into a purr, the lightning viciously striking like a scorpion slowly came to a mere prod ever now and again, the rain from a torrential downpour to a light drizzle until finally, nothing. The skies cleared and the crew rejoiced, bountiful cheers were exchanged between members and the Captain himself. The ship itself had taken some light damage but came out near as good as she went in, that's what they were built for after all.
Coming to the dock, Lysander spent his goodbyes to the crew, thanking the Captain and passing word of help if he ever needed it. A short amount of time had passed though before they were departing again for their next voyage while Winter had gotten where he needed. He faced the large city and saluted as per habit than any real other need to. Hopefully he could find someone worth spending time on, trudging into the markets, he made his way into the deep pockets of civilization.
