Range. How does this work if my character doesn't have a gun, or anything that would need a range value? Wouldn't the range of the sword he uses be the length of it? Or if he throws a punch or kick, it would be the length of his arm or leg?
Drawback. How do I give an ability a drawback that would naturally make sense if there is none? What would be the drawback for having a 'special' ability that made my character's footsteps silent when walking or tip-toeing?
Speed. How much can I increase my speed? Please don't tell me 'realistically' or 'not too much' or 'not over the top' considering I don't know what would be considered over the top to begin with. Not sure if running 15 mph would be too much or if 30 mph would be too much. There's nothing for me to compare this measurement of speed to.
Users. I don't get this at all. "in this section please list whether or not this technique is universal, meaning anyone can purchase this technique, or if only a certain character can purchase it." Uhm. Why would another character want to purchase my specific technique? I don't... understand this.

RANGE the range would naturally be the length of the sword. as stated in the technique form description, some ranges would be lower than others. but it was just a general guide for the majority of techniques that are usually created to be based off of. close combat techniques, or hand-held items of course, would have a small range. So you can put whatever range the sword is, + your arms length. to get less technical, you just guess about how long that would all equate to.
DRAWBACK again, not every technique may need a drawback, but i'm almost positive that you could think of one if you really tried. drawbacks don't have to be something major everytime. for your example of "tip-toeing silently," a drawback would be you move slower than you naturally would. and then with upgrades, you can increase the speed to "running silently" and so on. we review each technique case by case, so sometimes if we feel your technique needs one because of his ability, we'll help you add one in.
SPEED We'll add that into the guide soon. We're in our beta-testing now, and I actually never got around to adding speed/movement enhancement guides. So I am sorry about that but they will be added.
USERS Just because you made a specific technique, it does not have to be tailored around your character. skills and abilities may not all be specfically unique to a certain player, such as a "dash" or "tip-toeing" skills. this is a way to help other players purchase your technique if you want to make it universal. i know a lot of players asked "oh, what are some good ideas for techniques for a ____ (insert role)." and i know they would benefit from using public techniques. it's all about helping other members out when we can. in your case, you can just put "exclusive to ____ (insert character name)" for every technique. no biggie. others might put "uniersal". it's just an option for people to have.
I hope this helped you out in a bit. ♥

After some discussions with our staf team, we are going to be tweaking around with the system in certain areas so, we're sorry about the confusion to you and other members as well! We plan to definitely try and simplify some areas and get rid of others completely and adding in different material that was missing. Overall, all of your issues should be addressed more explicitly with the new guide that is being made. Thank you so much for your feedback as always. (:

Yes, this helped very much. Thank you for taking the time. <3
Thing that confused me about the 'Users' thing is that... I don't mind if anyone else can use it. If the site gets big enough, there's bound to be people using the same ability. It seems pointless in my opinion to put "users," since then if I put that it may only be used by my character alone and someone else creates an ability that is exactly like it, or very similar, I'd only be stopping them from using it. Why not just make all moves universal, or all specific to a character, or just not care? I'm wondering why you need to put that there. It seems like an unnecessary option really. Just my opinion. Still respect and love you guys if you decide to keep it.

Nahh we're just gonna remove it. I guess it doesn't really work on this forum as I thought it would. Haha. So the section was a bit redundant. but omg yes keep the feedback coming, especially when the new system is out. it's the only way to work out the kinks <3 thanks deaar.
