[atrb=cellSpacing,0,bTable][STYLE=text-align: justify; overflow: auto; height: 420px] Eve frowned as she sat carelessly at a table inside the renowned floating restaurant Baratie. The food was promising to be delicious, but it was of no comfort to the young woman, who has no longer able to continue her journey at this time. The ship she had navigated for wasn't going any further than the Baratie, and now she was stranded. Stranded in luxury, perhaps, but stranded nonetheless, and with the restaurant being as expensive as it was, she wasn't going to be able to afford food much longer.
Spreading a map out over the table, she sighed, reclining back into her chair and tapping her lips thoughtfully. As the Baratie was a ship itself, and was a popular destination, she could always try hitch hiking. However, there was a high chance of her being picked up by a band of pirates that were not so nice towards people in general. If that happened to her, she wasn't likely to be seen ever again.
She could hop aboard any marine vessels that come by, however she'd prefer that as a last resort- while she was currently only a pirate in name, she still had her pride and dignity, after all.
So, in short, until she could figure out who would be a reliable method of transportation, she was stuck- and with her dwindling resources, she'd soon be stuck working to pay off her debt.
She sighed. Wasn't piracy supposed to be easy?

Stomach growling, especially around all these incredible morsels. Why was she here in the first place? She had no money, maybe she could swipe some food. She had her violin with her, maybe she could start playing music with her case open to receive some money from the passengers of the ship, but this whole place was a restaurant, that'd obstruct their business, would she get in trouble?
God, that rumbling was starting to get on her nerves, she needed to eat, she was a pirate, she should just steal something... well, she wasn't a very good pirate. In fact, she only just decided to become a pirate, its not like she had any plans for it, it was either that or join the marines, but they were too organized, the Pirate life is so much freer. That its it. Too Hungry. Forget the business, she needed food now.
Taking her place at a two person table, she opened her violin case, took her instrument out, and began to play a lovely melody. She had closed her eyes so she could ignore the awkward stares before people began to warm up to her. She kept her eyes closed, hearing the money fall into her violin. 'Good good, just drop them in and leave.' She was content, but her face was emotionless, most violinist's faces are.[/style][/style][style=margin: 10px; margin-left: 30px; margin-right: 30px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px; color: #787878;]words 233 tags Eve notes Hai Irish~ [style=text-align: right; color: #0d0d0d; font-style: oblique;]coded by zetta[/style][/style] |

[atrb=cellSpacing,0,bTable][STYLE=text-align: justify; overflow: auto; height: 420px] Evelynn toyed with her newest order. The food was delicious, but staying at such a world-class restaurant for such a long time had spoiled her appetite somewhat. She was picking at a dish of fried rice when she heard a beautiful song starting up out of nowhere, just behind her. Turning in her chair, she watched a young woman playing calmly with her eyes closed. Sitting back and enjoying the music, she watched as many people began to place money in her case.
Waiting patiently, she relaxed and let the song soothe her, easing the burdens she felt. As the song ended, she got up, intending to pay her with some beri, when she heard the womans' stomach growl, even from her table. Eyeing the plate of food she was picking over just before, she picked up the plate and walked over to the womans' table, placing it before her.
"For the song." She said simply, before glancing at the second, unoccupied chair at the table.
"Meeting someone?"
It was unusual for her to engage in idle chit-chat, but she had a feeling about the girl before her. Besides, she owed her some gratitude for playing such a wonderful song.

She had stopped playing, content with the amount of beri she accumulated. She believed that it would be sufficient to obtain something to eat. She took the beris out of her case and placed her violin back in. She began to get up, but came face to face with a woman offering, not beri, but food. Amelia's first reaction would to be just to stand up and walk away, accepting food rather than money just seemed... like she was homeless or something. She was, but that is beside the point.
Eyeing both the woman and the food, she decided to "politely" decline it. "Thank you, but no thank you, I have plenty to buy my own." She called a waiter and ordered her own food. The woman decided to sit down next to her. Awkward moment approaching. Idle chit chat was not her thing, at least, not with other people, she liked animals better, hence the bunny ears.
Waiting for someone? She wasn't waiting for anyone. She didn't like anyone enough to wait up for them. In fact, she wanted to leave the girl before she gets the wrong idea, but rudeness was not tolerated by her. She stared at the girl with cold eyes. "No, I'm not waiting for anyone. Why do you ask?" Talking to strangers is a no no, yanno? She looked away from the girl and continued to wait for the waiter to come back with her food.
