The meeting with Gabriel had caused Rapture to go into this slight non-stop sketching phase. She had decided to sit where she was standing, which happen to be almost in the middle of the 'road', and start sketching. During this non-stop sketching of hers, she found that she had slowly inched her way to a nearby building, leaning back against it while she continued to sketch. On the current page she was scribbling on, she had managed to combine two of her previous ship ideas into one, and much to her surprise it was a lot more possible to build than the last two.
It wasn't until her hand started to cramp slightly that she chose to stop sketching and take a small break. Reaching into her bag, she pulled the coin she had received from Gabriel from it and began to fiddle around with it. It was just something to keep her occupied since she needed a small break from sketching. Running her thumb over the "P" that was on said coin, she made a little face. "Pandemonium" she droned, her pronunciation of the word was rather slow. "Che."
Resting her head back some, she gave a dead stare to all those who passed by her giving her strange looks for sitting where she chose to sit. Part of her wanted to scare them, while the other wanted to know what they thought of her. Did they wonder why a girl was sitting on the ground like that, or did they wonder why she seemed so..dead? Shrugging away such thoughts, she continued to 'creep' people out with her emotionless stares.

Down a long dirt road a tall figure tread, boots impressing on the snow as he sauntered forth. This handsome young man, donned a large blue coat as most sailor's did, but in this weather, it did little to keep him warm. Temperature wasn't a issue in the least. Extremities rising to his collar, he pulled it up over his neck, hiding the gills that wrapped around his throat in the firm blue cloth. Hands dove into the confines of his coat, finding warmth as well as personal belongings nested well within the pockets. Felix removed a compass of sorts, bringing it up to his face to observe the small needle that spun around the axis of the device. Determining his direction (as North), he further examined the small parchment of papyrus in his other hand. A poorly drawn map had been etched into the document, and a series of instructions covered the foremost of it in a strange language. "Shit. It says here that to reveal the treasure, I must have another person."Eyes glanced around, seeing perfectly regardless of the blizzard that was coming to be. Most seemed to be tourists, observing the historical sites of the old war and its remnants. And then he saw her: a petite girl, sitting idly against a wall sketching drawings of some sort. He approached her casually, hands in his pocket as he leaned down face to face with her. Her gaze would be met with fierce somber pools, that seemed to be piercing her solitude with the sharpest of blades. "Come with me, you look all too enthralled with this place. Besides, I got something much more interesting," he beckoned, hoping she would accept being volunteered for his quest. She was kinda cute. Golden locks spilled from her crown, curling of the ends in a well kept manner. The air about her was calm, she seemed rather distant by the way she kept to herself. But her allure was manifested in that solitude; the depth of her soul measured by the way she removed herself. She didn't fit in, that was obvious, but to disregard her because of that would be a fool's misfortune. Felix smiled, revealing the sharp ended whites of his teeth, and as he did so, he would extend a hand to her so to help her from the ground. It was her lucky day. As she looked among all the people who were passing by, she oddly didn't notice some guy headed her way and she only realized he was there because he had leaned down towards her. She lifted her head slightly to meet his gaze with her own emotionless one. In her mind, he pretty much demanded her to go with him because he had something a lot more interesting to do. Normal people probably would have ran away because of that whole stranger danger thing, but not Rapture. This person wasn't put off by her dead gaze and lack of emotions, so it was natural that Rapture was curious about him, that and she wanted to know what was so much better than sitting there and sketching.
He had held his hand out as to help her from the ground, but she didn't take his hand quite yet. Shutting her sketchbook, she shoved it back into her bag along with the coin she held onto. Putting the bag's strap over her shoulder, she took his hand as if she didn't have a care in the world. There were clearly risks in running off with some guy she didn't even know and she wondered at that moment what her family would think of what she was doing. After she stood, Rapture straightened out her coat and glanced to him. "So... where to?"
When she spoke, she had intended to ask for his name, but it slipped her mind due to the fact that she was pretty curious as to where she'd be going. She wouldn't be surprised if she ended up dead in some hole or something.. eh, it could happen. "Rapture is my name, by the way." Again, she didn't ask for his name, instead she gave hers. It was only common sense that he give his name in return, but if he didn't, she would simply come up with some name to call him.

People like that had usually fallen victim to some uncommon circumstances in which they felt the need to put up a mental shield of sorts, in order to prevent further harm. This wasn't a tough exterior in the least, but rather, one with scars deeper than flesh or bone, these would not heal with time. Time defines both space and tempo. It defines our location in the world, on a long stream of events, and allows us to place things chronologically in an order than helps us to maintain our sanity. But all that aside, it is possible that time was merely a where rather than a when. It is not when something happened, its where in time that it occurred. To repair something that happened would be beyond reason, for only growth can fester from the infectious wounds of the mind. But for that to happen, someone had to come to terms with their own grief. 'Moving on' as it's often quoted. Taking her by the hand, Felix left little time for talk as she would struggle to maintain the pace at which he pulled her. The needle of his compass rocked ever so slightly as he moved, but with the knowledge of a navigator, his sense of direction and distance was keen. There would come a point, when his feet would carry him far faster than hers, causing their touch to fade. Like the cool waves which swept over the sand, their embrace could never last long. But before he would drift back out to see, he would find comfort in the grooves of her sand, stilled in her presence. Lifting her from the ground, their flesh would coalesce, his arms gripping her thighs as he moved quickly through the frozen terrain. Felix soon diverged from the trail set for them, sliding gracefully down a snowy hillside into an open meadow. He paused here, thinking back to the map within his pocket. A small tree, touched by the gentle kiss of death from which Winter birthed. This tree, while normal in the eyes of any plain eye, proved to be much more significant to the fishman; as he reached the edge of the tree, he made a sharp right and began to count his paces aloud. "One, two, three..."he mumbled, keeping in tune with the tempo of 'time' as he moved. [/style] [/style][style=color:857660;font-size:8px;]made by katya of pre and ote[/style][/style]

The strange guy didn't bother responding to her, but she had figured as much. Next thing she knew, she was being dragged along at a rather fast pace and she found it a bit difficult to keep up with him. He seemed as though he had his mind made up as to where they were going and wasn't going to stop for anything, even if that meant she'd fall behind. As she was falling behind, she found herself to be distracted slightly by her surroundings, it was strange, but she was somewhat excited to see where they were going. Out of nowhere, he ended up lifting her off the ground and carrying her.
For a second there, she was pretty shocked and yet her face had not shown a single emotion. It didn't take long for her to adjust to how awkward it was and even then she wasn't sure if getting used to some stranger holding her like that was normal. Who cares? Everything she did was far from normal, why should this be any different. Rapture found herself gazing at his face as if she was observing him or trying to keep his face in her memory. She turned her gaze to look at where they were headed, but still had no freakin' clue. This made her frown slightly... being carried away to some unknown place by some guy... well that was her fault.
"Where are we going?" Rapture finally asked the question she'd been wanting to ask, she spoke pretty quiet since he was carrying her and all. After she had asked, she looked back at him, this time with a look of curiosity and not a completely dead gaze.

Towering over them, were the large crystalline jaws that marked the entrance to a dimly lit cave. Thick icicles hung from the concave ceiling, while blue hieroglyphics offered a feint glow from the walls of the frozen grotto. Turning to her, Felix placed an arm around her, while the other waved over the the view of the cavern as though guiding her gaze. "This my friend, is said to hold treasures linked to the greatest of all—one piece," the fishman mused, hoping to spur the realization of it's significance. Taking lead, Felix entered the cave head held high as sharp yellow eyes darted about the dark room. His vision, unlike a normal human, would suffer no hindrance from the lack of lighting. One perk to being a tiger shark [fishman], was the dark-vision that genetics provided him; excellent vision made his movements as a navigator decisive and top notch. Choosing the best path through terrain at any given moment, it was the trade he had invested most of his life into. Ambling towards the right most wall of the cavern, his fingers trailed along the ancient blue letters; these letters, brought into fruition from an unknown source. Speaking the ancient dialect in a quiet whisper, his words were hard to pick up, and even if the girl did hear them: she would understand neither their meaning or pronunciation. The pirate's eyes narrowed, and he moved at a brisk pace, leading the duo into a smaller passage. The narrow passage would bring out the claustrophobia in anyone, and it was a feat that the towering fishman could fit through the corridor. A bright light could be seen at the end of the corridor, and while often, people were told to stay away from the light in hopes of life: Felix moved ever closer to it. Soon, the passage opened into a large room of sorts. A spiraling staircase leading down onto a deck before a grande water fountain. A natural water fountain, formed by the frozen rocks of this ancient den, released a continual flow of water likely drawing source from a nearby spring above the current altitude. At first glance, it would appear that the fountain was shallow. As instructed by the map in his pocket, Felix stripped down to his undergarments. Loose shorts clung to his waist, held by the tightly coiled linen cloth encasing his abdomen. His bare body was substantially tone, muscle chiseled into a god tier frame;the gills around his throat now lay revealed to the open air. "Hope you don't mind a swim," he teased, knowing she would undoubtedly hesitate at first notice of the water's temperature. Taking the advance, he stood at the edge of the fountain, and dove in, disappearing beneath it's center piece and heading through an underwater corridor. No answer again, instead he simply kept on his way until they reached where he was apparently wanting to be. Once they had gotten there, he set her down and she could only case at the cave with a rather bored look. She couldn't lie, it looked pretty interesting but at the same time pretty.....then again dangerous. Rapture simply glanced at him as he spoke of the cave, only to quickly look back at said cave. He made it seem so grand and yet she couldn't think more of it.
He wasted no time making his way into the cave with his head held high. He seemed to have so much confidence in himself, that or he was just really eager to explore this cave. She followed into the cave after him, only she took very careful steps so she wouldn't end up tripping over anything. She didn't want to risk getting hurt just before she was about to head off with the crew she was now part of. Holding onto her bag as if it were her life, she continued to trail behind him slowly.
Noticing that he was drifting towards the right a little more, she did her best to stay near him so she wouldn't get lost or anything. She blinked quite a few times when he had whispered, she didn't know if she was hearing things or he really did say something. That and she had no clue what was being said, it was pretty faint. Shrugging the thoughts away, she figured she couldn't be bothered with such little things, next thing she knew..they were going through a rather small passage way.
Didn't take long until there was some random light at the end of the corridor and again this guy didn't hesitate to head in it's direction. He seemed to know where he was going, but Rapture knew by now that she would have been lost or she probably would have purposely gotten herself lost. They ended up in a pretty big area with some random stairs and a fountain of sorts.
She gave the guy a pretty weird look once he started taking his clothes off and she couldn't help but stare at him, it was mostly the gills on his neck. Swimming? In that cold water? She was sure she'd die... hell she was sure she was gonna die the moment she wandered off with him. Too late to turn back now. She placed her bag down and quickly released the buckle that kept her coat in place. Letting the coat fall to the ground, she decided she'd keep the shirt and short's she wore beneath the long coat on.
Rapture crouched a bit, staring at the water while she began a debate in her own head. Should she jump in? Would she even be able to handle it? She could only find out if she went ahead and did it... and so, she did. Rapture carefully placed herself into the cold water only to instantly want to get the hell out of there. Despite wanting to get out of the water, she simply decided to go under and head for the corridor she was fairly sure the guy had gone to.

Extending several feet from the edge of the walkway was a door opening out into a much larger area within the icy mountains. Treading through the doorway, he came to an abrupt stop making note of the narrow ice pathway that crossed over what seemed to be thousands of feet of darkness. Standing at the edge of the cliff, he peered over, in hopes of finding what waited him at the bottom. Only one conclusion could be drawn from such a view: death. On the other side of the unstable crystalline bridge was a well decorated mantle upon which sat a treasure chest. Sunlight poured in from above, gracing the compartment with a heavenly glow who's temptations far exceeded any woman's. There was one obstacle, thick metal bars encased the treasure—hanging by a chain from the ceiling. A switch next to the chest indicated access, however, another was neatly tucked away on the wall adjacent to the fishman. "This is where it gets tricky," he explained. Walking over to the lever closest to him, he pulled down on the handle, watching as it quickly rose. It was now apparent why two people were necessary to this retrieval, the lever had to be held down in order to take effect. It was impossible to lift the bars surrounding the treasure without both levers held down, at which point the bars would rise indefinitely. "I'm too heavy for the bridge, you're gonna have to go across," he mused, adding a slight chuckle at the end of his statement. Assuming she took reign of the task, he would watch as she crossed the thin ice passage, confident that she wouldn't fall. Upon pulling the lever, the steel bars would rise as a reel above the girl cranked loudly. Unlocked, and easy to pry open, the contents would lead them ever closer to One Piece. A treasure in all the gossip between pirates and citizens alike. It was said that whoever found this One Piece would be pronounced king of the pirate world, and his crew would be known across the lands. With such influence and power granted by this vaguely described fortune, who would not seek such a thing. As she opened the treasure, she would find nothing but an enveloped. The name 'Felix Greywater' delicately penned into the front. It seemed that someone had played a nasty trick. The very moment she could, she dragged herself out of the water, her whole body feeling as if it was being stabbed repeatedly by knives. Not to mention she was shaking quite a bit as well, but despite the pain she felt and how cold she was, her face continued to remain very emotionless. Yeah, she was gonna die there. Each step she took in an attempt to follow him was very painful and it seemed to get worse as she progressed. She tried her best to keep up with him as they wandered through the doorway. Looking around, she wondered what in the hell they were doing here, oh the things she only just thought of.
Rapture watched carefully as he had gone to a lever and pulled it, out of the blue he had announced that she was going to have to go across the bridge as he was too heavy for it. Continuing to ignore the pain shooting through her body, she simply nodded at him and carefully headed towards what they were apparently trying to get to, well he was at least. While carefully crossing the bridge, she couldn't help but look at either side of it and suddenly a new kind of emotion had sparked within her, she just didn't know what that was yet. Was she afraid? of death? No, that couldn't be it. She'd done far too many stupid things that could've killed her by now. Maybe it was the idea of falling off or something.
She let out a somewhat relieved sigh once she'd gotten to the treasure and hesitated for a moment to open it. Opening the treasure slowly, she stared at the envelope that was in it for a few seconds before taking it. She wasted no time in getting back across the damned bridge thing that seemed to make her feel a little scared.

Nimble digits pried open the chest. However, the contents soon left the tiger shark feeling great disappoint. An envelope? What kind of treasure could someone possibly find within an envelope, he doubted that it was a gift card. As Rapture neared him, he could see a name etched finely into the cover and new the recipient immediately. Prying it from her grasps, he tore it open, unfolding the letter which had been tucked within. His eyes scanned from side to side as he took in the information in pieces. The further he read, the greater his countenance took a turn for the worse. By the time he had finished reading it, he crumpled the paper and tossed it down into the abyss of darkness adjacent to him. Repeating the information aloud for the girl to hear, he spoke slowly and clearly: "Dearest little brother, It's good to see that you haven't died out yet in this world of pirates, and that you pursue your ambitions through your own means. However, you are yet still a guppy. A worthless no name to the world. As always, i am several steps ahead of you, proof of such is shown in the lack of a treasure found today. I know you want answers, and since you're my baby brother I've decided to give you a few hints. If you wish to get further information, meet me in the East Blue, on the island of Loguetown. Be there or be square." A vein was bulging from his forehead, the obvious frustration of sibling rivalry had hit a soft spot leaving Felix empty handed. He turned to the girl, giving the best smile he could fake, as he bowed. "I'm really sorry for wasting your time. My bastard brother wants to play games... so now I'm off to East Blue. It was a pleasure to meet you," he cooed, doing his best to keep a calm tone. Turning away from her, he began to take his leave. Would this be farewell?
