01. GENERAL RULES ACTIVITY + ACCOUNTS you're not expected to be super amazingly active. it's understood that people have a life outside of the computers and whatnot. it would be great if there was at least one post, once a week, per account. however you're not going to be "bam-deleted" if you don't. if you know you're definitely going to be slow with posting for a certain period of time, please do mention so in the absences board. otherwise, the site is all about having a stress free, fun experience! so be as active as you want. as for accounts, you're permitted up to five. however, please make sure each account is adequately active. i understand that character muse comes up, so if you've just made an account, just make sure they're equally active.
after you've made your account please be sure to change the name of your account to the full name of your character.
BEHAVIOUR please remember to be respectful to everyone, and treat others how you wish to be treated (don't troll and act like a douche because you want to be treated like that though, you'll just get burnt). over all, this site is going to be a drama free and happy community. if there is any drama it will be dealt with swiftly; should you have anything to report, please directly PM the admin account. otherwise, everyone should have fun and enjoy the site
GRAPHICS + FACECLAIMS this is an animanga faceclaim rpg only! if you want to use original drawings, ensure you have the correct permissions and that it is in the "animanga" style. homestuck faceclaims are permitted. as for the over all permitted graphics, please make sure they're all clean and neat. only one large image is permitted to be in your signature (max dimensions are 500x300), or three 100x100 icons and some text. your avatars may only be 100x100 as well. please give credit where credit is due, and remember that thievery will not be tolerated.
please link your characters profile and progress tracker (if they have one) in their signatures!

02. POSTING RULES POSTING TEMPLATES if you want to pretty up your posts, feel free too! please make sure that the coding isn't messed up and everything is clean and neat though. if you're going to be using templates from resource sites, please abide by their rules and never remove credits! if you're looking for a site to find such resources on, OTE is a good place to start. furthermore, don't feel pressured to use post templates. sometimes plain and simple is the best looking posts out of them all.
MATURE CONTENT role playing can sometimes get pretty heated, but to abide by proboards terms of service, smut and "sex scenes" won't be tolerated on the site - whether in threads or via PMs (proboards checks those too). if you really do want to roleplay something out, please take it to emails or IM. you can always do the whole "lead up to it" and then fade to black, as long as there isn't anything too graphic. as for gore and horror, this is a pretty dark themed site, so chances are there's going to be characters into that. it's not shunned, but again, just don't get way too overly graphic. if staff read something that they think is "going over the top" you'll receive a note to just tone it down a bit.
WORD COUNTS + GRAMMAR the site has a 150 word minimum per each in character post (word differ in travel threads however). please don't try to go below the minimum word count. it's in place because of how the levelling up and beri system works. don't want you all posting one liners in order to get to level 2! we want the site to be fair for everyone. grammar on the site is a bit of a soft spot, as most people like to see clean and proper use of it, so please try to use it. a good way to watch your grammar if you're not too good at it, is to write your posts in microsoft word pad or openoffice (google it, it's free!). they'll notify you of problems with grammar and help you fix them. keep an eye on it though, as sometimes the program gets it wrong too! just remember to proof read and ask yourself, "does this make sense?"

03. CBOX RULES SOCIAL ETIQUETTE the cbox should be a happy, fun, inviting place free of drama and "cliques". above all else please keep in mind that you should include everyone in conversations and be mindful not to let fellow members feel left out. try to not be offensive or make people uncomfortable. if you notice someone is uncomfortable or has said something, pull back and stop whatever you're doing, and apologising would be good too. bullying will not be tolerated. if you're having issues with someone, please bring them to the admin's attention. swearing is permitted, but keep in mind not to be too excessive. other then that, please be mindful that all "general site rules" apply to the cbox as well.
ICONS + REGISTERING please make sure you have a 50x50 or 100x100 icon in the cbox. you can accomplish this by direct linking the icon in the "email/url" input field next to where you enter your name. your name in the cbox can either be your only characters or the alias you go by on the site (preferably your alias). lastly, make sure you register your name by clicking on the "profile" link, in the bottom right corner of the cbox, so that no one can take your name or impersonate you. gif icons are not permitted in the cbox.
ADVERTISING advertising in the cbox is not permitted in any form. you can link to a resource or a site like zerochan, but please don't link to other proboard forums. any such posts will be promptly deleted and you will be banned. if a staff member isn't on at a time when a guest advertises in the cbox, it would be appreciated if you let them know it isn't permitted.
