It was his day off from the smiting shop today, and during this Mugen doesn’t usually goof like any other person. Instead, he ventures off to a certain place that he knew ever since he was a young child. The place was simply a junkyard, filled with old scarps of metal, wood, and ruins of old thrown away ships. But here, in Mugen’s eyes was a playground for parts, materials, and to train his body. Whether it is rain or shine, if he had free time he’ll always come here to this junkyard to better himself. Because he didn’t be a burden to anyone and to always be ready to answer a cry for help. The cost from this is quite simple, zero active of a social life. With being placed in a protected, he always he was some kind of an observer than actual person, and thought maybe he can be a protector instead that’s liked by people. That was proven on the day he helped that Marine.
It was almost mid-day upon Mugen’s to his playground, it quiet as usual with only the grand of many objects to him company. The weather looked like it was about to rain as Mugen looked up into the sky, but he felt he was ready for anything. For his trip to the junkyard, he brought a hefty brown leather bag, filled with minor tools and his trusty steel mail fist cuffs. He wanted prepared this around, because last time things were starting to look gray for Mugen and he didn’t want to be in that position again. But, it was time for Mugen to decide what activity he should do today. He could train, salvage, experiment, or build. All choices were very enticing, but Mugen to simply place his bag down to the ground for now and decided to perform some simple warm-ups.
The warm-ups had some simple stretches, some push-ups and sit-ups. His choice now is more certain, that was it was time for training. As to why he wanted, was because some big people that didn’t lose as easily he thought. He also thought maybe if he can get a little stronger, Mugen can actually prevent disasters even faster and more precise. He just had to at least try, because you can’t get anything done standing still.

HELENA ROOSEVELT The junkyard was one of her favourite places in the town for it was the best place to play mini pirate and treasure hunt game. Yes, she once dreamt to be a pirate while her father would be the marine to capture her since it was his occupation. Her mother would watch the two chased each other and hid themselves behind the mountains of junks. They would throw the pieces and imitated canon sounds. It was all about fun until the day her mother went missing.
She went missing and without she realized it has been seven years now.
Helena flipped her coin for the last time before she grabbed it and dug her hand in her short pants pocket. She made her way through the yard with her eyes surveying the surrounding. Nothing much changed, or so she thought. Perhaps more junks were bumped here. The female grinned. Well if that's the case then perhaps she would be able to find herself something fun to play with although she preferred not to get her hands dirty.
Talk about something fun, she found one but it was not a piece of a junk. It was a living person; a boy. Hmm. Now what would a guy be doing here? Oh shouldn't she ask herself the same question? Helena chuckled and had both her hands behind as she marched playfully towards the male from behind. Her steps were kept as quiet as possible so that she could do a surprise greeting. He would be surprised would he? Oh my, that sounds exciting enough that she felt eagerness began to crawl under her skin now.
At last, standing three feet away from him, Helena flashed a grin and bent her knees slightly. She sprungand landed on his left side as she surprised him, "Boo!" Her eyes watched his face to see how he looks like and hopefully he was surprised. That was her goal after all! She would stand up and rested one hand on her hip before she giggled. The female asked for a feedback of her attack,
"Did I scare ya?"

He was focused, determined, and calm in mind when he first started his warms-ups and everything was going all nicely as well. He tried not to overexert himself, get each exercise its mark and make of just enough stamina to execute but leave just enough for later. Yes, it was going as planned, but Mugen may not be the only person to visit the old junkyard. He was on the last of his squats when this certain event happened and he was a bit sweaty from exhaustion yet not too much. In an instant a solid touch tapped his back, at first he was shocked to believe someone was quiet enough to get to behind and figured might be an enemy or another follower from those gang of thugs.
The shocked seriousness was bright as day on his face as his muscles were tensed, and he was all set to block a coming blow. The next moment is what really caught him off guard, it was girl’s that yelled “boo”. He didn’t recognize the voice at all, but she didn’t sound too threatening. So, he figured he can take a sigh of relief as his expression changed dramatically to his normal self. The girl also stated an odd question of sorts, did she scare him? Mugen was curious now to see who was asking this odd question. He slowly turned with a simple look on his face and from what he saw was a blonde girl. She looked about Mugen’s age, but all could think was why she out here in the first place.
He stared into her blue eyes for a bit as he blinked his own before asking. “Um…hi, who are you?” He was purely curious from the tone and genuine as well, still in the back of his mind it was interesting that she could sneak around like that. But, something else also came to his mind, he asked first before introducing himself properly. The realization was clear on his face before he blurted out his needed introduction. “Oh, oh, right…my name is Mugen.” From he wanted to be somewhat polite, even if some things seem a bit different. He couldn’t place it, but that’s all that can explained for now.
OOC: Of course. ^^

KNOTS AND BOLTS Ah, as she had expected, the guy was a good-looking man himself. He was rather young and about her age if she was not mistaken. Both his eyes and hair matched with the same colour of dark hazel but she was not sure about it due to the shade from clouds above. She raised her head up and covered her eyes with her right hand. Will it rain? Oh boy. She preferred not to have herself wet under the rain since she needed to stay healthy for the upcoming night. She will be performing this week and if she falls sick, she's doomed!
“Um…hi, who are you?”
The blonde glanced down at him. Who was she? WHO? God, that was- the worst. How could he not know 'who' she was! The blonde scoffed and pulled down her head to stare at him. Her lips were frowning at first but then she curved them upward. A smile flashed more like a grin but it was not as obvious as his previous expression in surprise. The face, the tense; it was hell of fun to watch! She could roll on the ground and cackle on him but it was too immature. Besides, she would appreciate the moment to laugh if he wasn't asking the question.
“Oh, oh, right…my name is Mugen.”
Mugen eh? A name she hardly or never heard of before. She swirled her finger in horizontal as same high as her shoulder before she repeated his name in wonder, "Mugen?" Okay, Haine was not a whore to know each and every guy in the town. She would not waste her time to even recalling a name unless it was about hot gossips and rumours. Mugen seemed to be off any lists she remembered so she had a few guesses about him.
Was he a new boy in town? Or was he a traveller in another word... pirate?
The ideas had the lady grumbled out of dissatisfaction but she remained to show a polite expression. "Never heard of your name." She said fluently with no accent like others in the town. It showed that she's not a pirate or whatever close to the low-beings. Pardon her, she has unsettled past with pirates. Even though it was long time ago, she still could not accept the existence of pirates. Perhaps she was envy of them who can have the fun to travel as the kings and queens of sea rather than playing the mini treasure hunt in your own junk yard.
"It's not a surprise that you don't know me either then." She laughed lightly before continued, "I- am the motha' land of this junk yard and you- mister 'Mugen', is trespassd' my land!" She flicked her hair behind and gave a proud pose. It was a surprise how she could imitate her mother figure's accent. It was good enough to trick kids but wasn't good enough to fool a grown-up like him. She grinned after that and looked at him back.
"Just kidding, dude. I'm Haine; Partia's singer." She laughed and dug both her hands in her pockets. She has bad sense of humour unless when she drunk but she was a good drinker. She could make a better joke if there's a drink but for now, she failed and she knew it.
"What are you doing here anyway? This was my treasure hunt place and I don't expect anyone to come here for a sight-seeing."

He stood, looking curious as ever watching this blonde girl. The girl looked rather shocked that he didn’t know her. Was she famous, was she someone Mugen knew, or a relative, who knows. However, her expressions changed drastically again, it was rather odd but it was interesting to Mugen. He slightly wondered what was going through her mind at the time. But, her reactions just kept changing like clockwork by each line Mugen has said. The curiosity burned even still and when she finally responded, it sounded like she didn’t know him either, so that ruled out most of Mugen’s possibilities for her. It became a certain confirmation when she spoke again.
However, on the third time that she has spoken to Mugen, it really gave him a surprise. She said that she was the owner of this here junkyard in a different of speech, like an imitation of someone. But, in all the times Mugen has been he certainly never heard of an owner, let alone a family or rather ‘mother’ in this case. Alas, it was all a joke and even was confirmed by this blonde girl. He simply laughed a bit by way she sounded to Mugen’s ear. There was a detail she mentioned that literally made his surprise, that she was an actual singer named Haine. A real live singer, and from a neighboring island no less. He wondered on what was a famous person like her doing a place like this. However, this was not the only detail surprised Mugen.
She actually asked him of all people, on why he’s sightseeing here. Mugen was local around in the North through and through, but it makes some sense because of lifestyle. Even though, it did kind of show how invisible and how separate from a normal life he really was. He knew that Haine wasn’t to be blamed for anything and how could she? She didn’t know him at all. Mugen scratched the back of his head and began his response to her question.
“I hate to disappoint you, but I live in the city just a few ways. Oh, and I always down here since I was a small kid. I always come down here when I get day off lately, and I usually train, build, salvage, invent here now.” He laughed a little to himself after that as spoke in a kind tone to Haine. He tried to liven up the mood a little more with the laugh, but it sounded a bit nervous though from the tone. There was something on his mind at the time too and it was because she mentioned treasure hunting right here in the junkyard. Was she always been around here and Mugen was just at the right to miss her? It couldn’t as simple as that, but it just might be. To think, Mugen could have easily made a friend here.
But, he put aside that thought for now and focused more on the girl in front of her. He had some questions of his own. “So, how about you more treasure hunting or something?” It was simple question and said straight in the same kind tone of his. In spite of the little conversation that was kept between the two. The clouds started to darken, to swell up in the sky, bit by bit. It looked it was about to rain soon, and even the simplest mind could to tell you that.

KNOTS AND BOLTS This conversation was slow but entertaining. She enjoyed the small talk with this 'Mugen' and him being an obsessively handsome man added more points to this chat. She used to accompany men regardless their ages and occupations. From the youngest age of seventeen stray rat kid to the oldest seventy-four years old pirate man, who strangely called Haine his daughter. Yeah, appreciated the love but she declined it. He was too old to be her godfather and a flirty pirate who was interested in her mother figure. The female let out a small huff as her eyes glanced at him lazily. Her dug hands in the pockets were kept warm and comfortable from the cold air. It seemed as time passed, the breeze brought an unwelcoming news that it will soon raining in this yard. Will it end just like that? Perhaps not. Haine was not going to stop her fun day just because of the rain. Even though she would love not to have herself getting sick under the rain, if it was all about fun, she would sacrifice herself just for a small taste of the joy of playing under the heavy drops of rain.
Eh, whatever. She was just rambling shits in her head.
“I hate to disappoint you, but I live in the city just a few ways."
She blinked at him and tilted her head slightly. She was both surprised and curious about him even more now that he stated he lived in the city. A home-town boy, he claimed himself to be but how on earth she did not know him? Well, fine. She's not a whore all right but at least she should know him from the neighbourhood! Haine would nod couple of times to digest the statement properly in her head.
"Oh, and I always down here since I was a small kid. I always come down here when I get day off lately, and I usually train, build, salvage, invent here now.”
He just made things even more interesting yet curious. Mugen was definitely the town guy and with this, Haine grinned as if she pleased to know about it. She was, it's been a while since she met someone from around here with real childhood past of this town let alone this junk yard. Warmth began to float in her heart and her cheek turned reddish out of joy. She found someone who finally have spent his time in this place. What a fortunate day! Haine flicked and ran her hand through her hair with closed eyes when he questioned her purpose of being here.
“So, how about you more treasure hunting or something?”
Treasure hunting was all right but not the bull eye. She peeked at him through her left eye and hummed. She lowered her shoulders, giving a comfortable body posture as she stood with her body weighed on one leg.
"Close, but not correct." She said simply with small huff between the words. The lady walked passed by him and headed to the left side. The sapphire glanced around for something fun to point at. She could see rusted steels, broken wheels and ew- what the hell was that? She smirked at the dirty old and busted antique furniture. She cleared her throat and turned to him. Her right hand was brought to her chest, her neck was stretched little bit upward and her eyes were closed.
Who was she imitating this time?
"I- am here on my own reasons under my own circumstances to recollect my sweet childhood memories." She said with an out most noble-like and classy tone. She let few seconds of silence before she chuckled and walked back to him. Her hands were held behind her as she brought her upper body front, bending towards him as close as possible. Perhaps she was trying to amuse him so much that she was carried away but this time, she should try have him amused her in return
"And if I say my childhood memories have something to do with treasure hunting and building things up for this piles of junks, would you join me then?" She tilted with a friendly and calm smile

Haine was interesting to look at, at least when it comes to reactions. It always one to another, Mugen always had to keep on guessing to catch to make sense of it all. One moment she was surprised, the next happy or the other time curious and it was a marry-go-round of emotions at play. Looked at her curiously, she begun to say her response and Mugen on the ball with own question but not completely. That wasn’t all, she looked like she was preparing to say a grand speech or a mission and if it’s anything like the first impression, and he’ll surely have a good laugh. However, he did knew he had priorities on bettering himself, but maybe he can help this girl first before he gets back to business.
When he first heard the impression, he busted out laughing. Even took him a good moment to regain his composure, but it was pretty amusing to Mugen’s ears. The way she looked in posture like she was ready to go to a proper tea party, hit Mugen’s funny bone pretty well. He had to honestly comment on this as fast as possibly could. “Wow…that’s horrible.” He was trying to regain his breath a little after what was said, but he was at least jokingly honest. He meant in it at all, but that impression alone even made shed a small tear of joy from the hilarious noble act. He huffed a little and tried to catch some of his breath back, before he regained his sense of composure. Before he could answer that daunting thought of not training to just help was still lingering, but there’s not a chance in the world that Mugen would refuse a call for help.
With just one more deep breath of regaining his back to reality, he nodded to the girl before he spoke. “Sure, of course I’ll help you.” He agreed in the same usual tone, genuine yet kind. However, he knew that the clouds were beginning to turn and he wouldn’t want to let a singer like Haine get wet and sick. He knew her fans would miss her and Mugen would feel bad if that occurred. He’ll have to give it in the most minimal time possible to make sure that possibly won’t ever happen. Besides, it wouldn’t take a genius to think a thug could kidnap this girl and make a good profit, Mugen knew she was good at sneaking that was sure, but as far as combat is concerned he had no idea what to expect. It makes it all the better in Mugen’s reasoning for him to tag along.
He waltzed on over to get his bag, but he did take note of something Haine did. She was looking around the area, he didn’t know what she was looking for but it had to be something specific. The bad clinked and clunked with the tolls and weapon instead as he straps it on his back. He tried to looked around where she looked to get some idea on where to go, but the only who should really know was her. With the considerate thought in place, he had to ask her. “Is there any direction you wish to go to?” After taking blind guesses at which direction, he looked right at the blonde directly for confirmation. He was awaiting an answer sure, but with his pack in hand he was ready for combat at any time. Mugen was determined to get Haine to her next show in one piece and dry as the desert.
Though, there was lingering thought that still remained all this time. How can she move that quietly, without giving Mugen any notice of detection? I mean, there has to be some sort of rational explanation on to why that is, but Mugen keeps drawing blank for a regular singer like Haine. Unless, she does more than she lets on, however that has to be dismissed with the ever trusting and giving man Mugen is. He couldn’t discriminate anybody right off the bat, without hearing someone’s story and flat out punishing them seems wrong to him. What also seemed wrong to him is to be intrusive of her life especially since they just met, he thought giving her the space she needed was for the best. For better or for worse, was fate’s call.

KNOTS AND BOLTS Haine was being the typical Haine. She could not resist a handsome yet dazzling looking man especially one like Mugen. The conversation was getting more and more interesting with him getting along with her and her silly acts. She was after all a singer. She has been living the life of all types of people. She was a marine's daughter, a singer and the best of all- one may not thought her of to be a thief. She lived a life as a thief secretly behind her father in order to find the truth about pirates and their hideouts. She wanted to know about them and their corrupted life. Her mother was an adventurous woman just life her and she bet that the woman was kidnapped was just a cover up.
She must have ran away with pirates.
It was wrong for her to think like that about her own mother but she couldn't help it. She knew her well; she knew how she must have felt living a boring life as a landlady and a marine's wife. While her husband was working, she would be staring outside through her room window and sighed.
"How does it feel to be on the sea?"
Little Haine would not understand such thing but now as she grew up, she began to grasp the meaning behind the words. Even Haine herself could not bare the life of a simple girl. She wanted some adventures. She wanted some thrills and thus she would walk out of her house, had a stray life before she was found by a woman who ran a club down town.
Hearing the fellow laughed made Haine happier. Mugen laughed so hard that he struggled to pick up his breath and even shed tears of joy. He was so cute when he laughed, which had the girl blushed lightly. She chuckled to his pleasant reaction and felt good for being able to entertain her new friend. New friend, she claimed? Wow, it must be a surprise thing to think that she has considered him to be her buddy on the first meeting. Few seconds or perhaps a minute or two had passed and yet she felt as if she has already knew him well. Perhaps not too well since she still knew nothing about him. Well that's okay. If they were truly meant to be friends then they would be open to each other more and more soon. Still, certain things about this Hainexia De Luca she wanted to keep quiet.
Certain things she felt better left unknown.
With him taking an agreement to help her, she nodded and turned to face the wide yard compiled with broken and unwanted junks. First of all she should know where to go. Treasure hunting trains one ability to navigate and to plan. Navigate and plan. She grinned and turned to him. Both her hands were brought onto her hips as she tilted herself to the left. Since he was her partner now, should she ask his opinion first of all?
"Any suggestion where to head to, Mugen?" She asked with a grin. It was a hazy memory but if she could recall it, she had hid a box of jewellery somewhere here and if it has remained the same over the past few years, then...
"Ah! We should go to the 'abandoned ship' to find the map first!" She said as she snapped her finger and winked. The lady punched the air and cheered as she marched to the east of the yard. She slowed down her pace so Mugen could catch up and walked by her side and if he refused, she would moonwalked towards him.
Now, time for little one to one ice-breaking eh?
"You said you have been living here right? And you have been training here, in this yard. So how come we haven't bump into one another?" Pardon her, she was just being a curious lady. She wanted to know more about him.

Everything was going with this blonde singer, Haine and she seemed to be a good person in Mugen’s eyes. He still can’t get over the fact of her stealth movements, but that can be ignored for now there has to be an honest reason for it. Besides, it’s something should be discussed right off the bat, especially for a first meeting. There wasn’t a worry in the world right now, everything just seems so calm and Mugen thought that’s the way it should be. But hey, there’s also a chance he’ll make a good friend today and that’s something for Mugen to be excited for. He could use a few, but for some reason the idea of it seems lack-luster.
Mugen felt making friends was all he needed and helping out seems great too, but there was always this unexplainable hinge. Like is something just missing or out of place. There is always has to be something right “there” and even now he can’t tell what “there” is exactly. It could some feeling he needs to experience, maybe the world itself, meet the right person? Who knows exactly, but it is something that is within Mugen’s sub consciousness. Someday has to uncover it, but the timing of it seems so vague right now. For the time being, he’ll do his best to think of the current matters, like helping his potentially new friend out and if he didn’t, who will.
Their time so far was a joyous one the pair shared a good laugh and made an agreement to find a lost treasure. But now, is where this “search” for treasure. Haine asked Mugen for opinion on the matter, but it seemed Haine found her direction after all. It toward an abandoned ship that was off in a few ways into the distance, it wasn’t a very long walk but it is what it is. Thinking it was for the best, Mugen let Haine take the lead and let himself to follow. He walked in his own pace behind while hauling his leather bag and he took in his surroundings for any odd movements that are considered dangerous. Yet, it all quiet for now and there wasn’t a single soul around besides the two from what Mugen can see. However before Mugen knew it, Haine moonwalked back to his side to converse with him for a little bit.
The blonde wondered why she hasn’t bumped into Mugen in all of his times coming here or even back in the city. Mugen knew exactly why that was, but he knew couldn’t tell her everything, because there wasn’t much to tell at all really. Mugen was made to be observer of life, worked for hours on end, help anyone who needed it and come to the junkyard whenever he could, that’s it to his life overall. He decided to respond to her in the best way he could without giving too much away, but he knew didn’t want to lie to her. “Oh, I work as a blacksmith and shipwright, so my work is pretty demanding in the city. I’m quite good at it.” Mugen was honest and kind-spoken as usual, but Mugen did feel bad inside to not really have much to talk about. Instead of dealing with daunting thoughts, he decided to ask Haine ask as well and keep the conversation going.
“How long were you a singer, do you write your own songs too?” He had the tone, but had a genuine curiosity to it. He wondered what was it like to be a singer, and to have a voice that attracts crowds for the melody. He also wondered if the job if stressful sometimes and was it that easy to perform in front of many people. Of course, this is just a taste of the ever so willing to learn mind of Mugen’s. He knows there are in this world has yet to experience and he wants to know, plain and simple.
