Hi there.
I'd just like to give a quick suggestion. I was just talking to my friend Sheep about training threads. And we thought that some people tend to put a lot of effort into their training posts whereas others tend to simply pass it by with fairly little effort (200 minimum world limit.) So my suggestion is this--
If a moderator or staff is assessing a training thread, should they find it higher than average quality, they can be allowed to give a small compensation for the total amount of quality given. In the form of beri or whatnot.
The simplest way to do this is to sum up the total amount of words, but I like to think that storytelling matters too. So I think ultimately there should be a bonus (like 100 beri or something similar) for anyone whose post the moderation deems to be top notch quality.

I can see your point, but this really wouldn't be fair. Gunners and Swordsmen are the only ones who really do training threads, so why should they be given the opportunity to garner more beri? A higher post count doesn't necessarily mean better quality. I think it's good that some people try to go beyond the bare minimum, but beyond earning respect from the staff and fellow peers, it wouldn't really be fair to award additional beri.

Bonuses like this would make it more likely for those of other positions to take part in training threads. Scholar or not, I'd still give it a shot if there was a possibility of getting a bonus of some variety. Plus, these could be used for any future techniques etc. I obviously have no idea how techniques are gonna be implemented, but still, this is a pretty decent idea to implement on the back of other options.

If I may, I'll disagree with this. The fact that something as simple and doable as a training thread to level up is already simple enough. Other classes, like Marines and Bounty Hunters, actually require there be a site event to level up. Training threads not only give you 50 beris on the spot for the posts, but put you one step closer to more techniques and a higher level. It's all about player integrity, really, and how much you wanna work for it. My two cents, but if this is provided, then the Marines and Bounty Hunters, and other classes, will be given much of a disadvantage in terms of leveling up.

only ranks with requirements that they have a training thread are permitted to make one. training threads are more so only implemented on the site for swordsmen and gunners to meet their specific requirements. scholars, doctors, etc have their own requirements.
but yeah, on the subject, i'm going to say no. it's not fair, and you swordsmen/gunners get enough perks from training threads. you could have a long thread but it could be shit as all hell in terms of storytelling, while the thread with the shorter posts had much better storytelling. in the end though, it all comes down to the amount of content you guys have gone over in a training thread. it's not about having flashbacks or making a long story, it's about developing skill sets in character and training. so, lifting weights, going through routines, running until you drop dead.
additionally, it'd require a lot more attention from the staff, and there could (and probably would) be complications involving final decisions on how much beri a thread is worth. say, toppa, that i decided your thread wasn't even worth extra beri, and then went on to give a thread that in your opinion wasn't as great as yours about 20+ beri. you'd be mad, wouldn't you? so pretty much to keep everyone nice and happy, there won't be any extra beri handed out for training threads.
