Aiden slipped on a blue vest over his white undershirt. Once the vest was completely on his body, he slipped into some blue jeans. Sliding a white belt into the loops he glanced at a mirror and let out a sigh. Overall his appearance looked rather good everything seemed to match but there was a small problem. The exposed part of his undershirt was clearly wrinkled but he was too lazy to actually try and remove the wrinkles. Glancing around his hotel room he wondered if there was another white shirt he could slip on swiftly and go ahead and leave the hotel. Seeing no other shirt he shrugged to himself and proceeded to leave the hotel.
Arriving at the bar he was supposed to meet with his transportation at, he paused for a moment and caught his breath before he pushed open the doors. The aroma of liquor hit him the second he was inside. The smell was so pleasant he didn’t even glance around like he normally would and instead walked straight to the counter. Ordering a drink, he waited a moment before his beverage was brought to him. The island he was supposed to be at was across the ocean but he had been told to come here. Glancing around the only person he noticed that looked interesting was a one armed redheaded man.
Now that he had finally arrived the marine could get the show on the road. He wasn't exactly sure who was going to be his transportation and there were multiple ways to find out, some easier and faster than others. Raising his glass to his lips he titled the cup so that the liquid went into his mouth and down his throat. It burned his insides but he didn't really care, he enjoyed the feeling and it was going to be the only alcohol he got to drink until returning back to land. He had never been out of West Blue but he heard the ride was anything but a short one. Once all of the liquid was transferred to his body and out of the glass he placed the cup back on the counter and wiped his mouth. “Time to get started,” He said to himself as he slid out of his chair and stood to his feet. He had grown to be rather patient person but he wanted to get going so he could back as soon as possible. Letting out a sigh, Aiden pulled out his pistol and breathed out slowly.
Cracking his knuckles, he looked out at the people in the bar with a cold expression. He didn't plan on actually getting violent but they sure as hell didn't know that. The staff looked intimidating enough and considering they had no idea who Aiden was there was the chance that they would be frightened of him because of the lack of knowledge. Plus there was a good chance that there were pirates scattered about in the bar so it wouldn't be all that surprising if some of them were afraid that he would try to turn them in because they felt their bounties were big enough. In truth, it was unlikely that Aiden would ever actually try to capture any of them considering that there bounties probably weren't worth the trouble.
Aiden glanced around the bar and didn't see any faces that he remembered from wanted posters and confirmed that they were all more than likely small fish in a big sea. Then again there was always the chance that they were bigger fish then he was used to looking at. He typically aimed for moderate bounties but some of the people here could have extremely high bounties and thus he didn't know their face because he wasn't planning to go after them anytime soon. People's bounty directly related to their skill level and although he wasn't afraid of anyone who knew he wasn't about to beat them with courage alone. [/style] |

The bar went dead silent for a moment and he wondered if someone was going to break it again with some sarcastic comment. The bar's silence was greeted with the laughter of a single man. Glancing around for the source, Aiden's gaze rested upon that of the one-armed man. “I'm your ride but don't be breaking shit on my ship.” Aiden merely raised an eyebrow at the man's words. A one armed man was going to be in control of his transportation. He didn't think that a boat would require too much as far as steering was concerned but that still didn't make the prospect of a man with one arm doing it any more pleasant. After a moment of thinking about he just grinned and shook his head.
The silence between Aiden the one armed man was growing longer and longer by the second. The marine was still tying to get over the fact that he only had one arm to man an entire ship and the man was probably trying to get over having to transport a person who seemed violent. The silence was broken by a voice belonging to a female. Some brunette girl who was clearly drunk. She had gotten to the center of an apple and was now freaking out. Females, Aiden thought. He didn't have to deal with them much when he was younger. In fact considering that his job as a slave was to work the fields he only saw the females when he turned in what he collected.
Aiden opened his mouth and then closed it. He could mess with the girl and tell her that she was going to die in a couple of hours but if he did that then there was no telling what she would do. “You aren't going to die stupid woman,” said the one armed man. Glancing at the man, the marine shook his head. Out of everyone in the bar the person with the biggest handicap seemed to be the most confident. He wondered for a brief moment if it was just a front by the man to avoid actual confrontation. People most likely thought if you had a handicap and was still talking trash that you had a hidden trick up your sleeve.
As he gazed at the man, Aiden shook his head with a smile.“What's your name,” he asked. From what he had seen of the man he was pretty sure if either of his old friends were there they would have liked him.“Silas,” the man replied. Scratching his head, the marine figured that they might as well leave now so that they could get back to the mainland sooner.”Lead the way to your ship.. Silas,” Aiden breathed. Sliding his hands into his pockets he waited for the man to comply and lead him out of the bar. It wasn't until he thought about leaving the bar did he realized that their transportation had likely had a few drinks and was now intoxicated. [/style] |

Some people had good luck and others had horrible luck. As they walked out of the bar, Aiden was sure that his luck was as bad as it came. The first friend he had ever made had died, his mother had been taken away from him, he had to kill in order to escape slavery, he had to capture criminals to survive, and then to top it all of he had a fucking drunk captain that was supposed to take him across the sea. If they passed through a storm or if the waters got rough there was a drunk that would be in control of the ship. Letting out a sigh, Aiden contemplated knocking the man out and taking control of the ship himself.
The second the thought had passed through he dismissed it as ridiculous. If controlling a ship was so easy that anyone could do it though then he might as well let the drunk man have a go. Some experience even if drunk had to be better then no experience even when sober. Besides, he could use the time it took to get to the island to actually rest so that he was prepared when they got to the island in case things started to get crazy.
As they finally entered the docks, Aiden wondered what the ship would be like. It couldn't be that big considering that it was only the two of them but there was no telling what this drunk man had in store for them. After a few more moments of walking Silas stopped next to this large wooden ship. Glancing it over, the marine raised an eyebrow as he concluded it was far too large for one man to be controlling by himself. Glancing toward Silas, he was about to ask him if this was the right ship when he heard voices coming from on board. Shaking his head he realized that just because they had met Silas at the bar didn't mean he would be the only one manning the ship. Hell for all he knew the one armed man might not even be the captain. [/style] |

There were plenty of people working the ship and he figured he didn't have much to worry about until they ended up reaching the island. As he thought about that little part he wondered if this ship would be able to handle it. He heard that there was a storm somewhere around Lyneel Kingdom and if they hit it he wondered how the ship would fare. Shrugging, he asked himself what would he do if this ship wasn't able to handle the storm? Nothing. It wasn't like he would be any better off trying to swim instead. In fact him trying to swim would likely lead to death far before him staying on the ship would.
Walking to the railing of the ship, he turned so that his back was to the edge of the boat and slid down to the ground.“I'm going to go ahead and rest. It's gong to be a long trip before we actually get anywhere near Lyneel Kingdom so I'm going to spend it sleeping. If you need me wake me,”Aiden explained to Silas. He figured the captain would know how long it would take to get to the island but he just wanted to explain in case he didn't understand his reasoning. After all it wasn't like the marine was needed to help man the ship. Closing his eyes he showed that his method of passing the time was going to be him resting.
Aiden sat there for a moment with eyes shut. He wasn't actually able to go to sleep as his mind worked over the voyage. As he thought it over he felt less and less comfortable going to the island with so little to know about the crew. There wasn't really a whole lot that he could do now though so he felt that there was no point in worrying about it but then at the same time he felt that it was a little foolish to go somewhere like that. Opening his eyes he glanced around at the crew members once more. They all knew what they were heading toward but none of them seemed all that worried. They had likely been to the island before so if they didn't seem that worried then why should he be? [/style] |

Aiden had heard various little rumors about the place and was curious to see how things worked on the island for himself. From what he had heard whenever the moon was out, the islands inhabitants supposedly turned into demons. Glancing upward he felt a surge of excitement as he noticed that the moon was high in the night sky. Glancing back down he smiled as the island grew closer and closer and he almost forgot that he was coming here seeking more bounties. It was hard to stay focused on this however considering how few details he had been given in regards to the levels of bounty that would be here. In fact besides being told that more bounties could be found in this blue he had been told little about this place.
Leaning against the railing of the ship, Aiden allowed for the wind to blow through his hair. Whatever was on the island he doubted that he really needed to worry. He had been a little antsy before but the calm crew of the ship had settled him. Then again they weren't the one going on this island they were merely dropping him off. Sighing through his nostrils he told himself that he needed to stop worrying like a female. This island wouldn't be dangerous in the least and even if it turned out it was he would be able to handle himself. It was said that the east blue was the weakest of all the blues so considering that he was from West blue he should be fine here.
The most entertaining thing on this island was likely going to be its inhabitants. Looking over the edge of the railing he wondered if they would look more mutated than monstrous or if they would turn out to look purely demonic. He wasn't a coward but if that was the case then perhaps going to an island filled with demonic creatures wasn't the smartest decision he had ever made. Then again maybe they weren't that different from other people. Their appearances were definitely going to be strange but that didn't mean they would be more dangerous than anyone else. For all he knew they could all be pacifists. [/style] |

Not even bothering to look toward his fellow travelers he jumped off of the boat and landed into the now shallow ocean water. The water came up to about his ankles but the jump made some of it splash as high as the bottom of his shirt. Glancing down into the water he was surprised at how clear it was. If this island wasn't known for its demons maybe it would be a nice little tourist spot. He sure wouldn't mind swimming around in the clear waters. Squatting down in the water he placed his left hand in it just far enough for his fingertips to be submerged and then pulled it back out.
The water felt nice on top of that. Shaking his hand of any water that was still on it he told himself that he should be more concerned with the island than the water. Making his way through the water he soon arrived at the shore. As his shoes sunk into the white sand with each step he found himself resisting the urge to stop and play around a bit. Stuffing his hands into his pockets he slowly walked toward the forest on the island not really sure as to his exact destination. After all it wasn't like he had a map or anything to guide his path.
Letting out a sigh he figured there was no point in worrying about what his path would or wouldn't lead to. As he made his way through the jungle on the island he paused as he heard some sort of animal roar. Glancing around he noticed a shadowy figure not to far off from where Aiden was standing. Not sure of what else to do he remained motionless. When the shadowy figure disappeared he let out a sigh and was about to resume walking when he noticed several more figures approaching him. Squinting to see what the figures were, he arched an eyebrow when they disappeared as if they were never there. Saying that this place was going to be interesting was definitely an understatement.
