In the middle of town, a pirate stood. He was heavily armed and was not tiny in the least. Standing to about six foot five inches and being nowhere close to anorexic, he was intimidating to the defenseless villagers of Foosha Village. Marines hardly ever patrolled out here, as nothing really ever happened. And as much as Reisha wanted to say she was on duty, she had simply traveled her on her day off to buy some things for her new house down by the countryside. She had been here for a week and was still getting settled in. It was her first day off, and she wasn't enjoying it. She liked keeping herself busy, but petty officers weren't required to work every day of the week and her commanding officer had insisted she take a break from duty.
But oh how lucky she was, for there was never a dull day in East Blue. Or so she thought. She was dressed as a civilian today. Wearing khaki pants and a light blue blouse, she would never have been mistaken for a marine. Her long, purple hair was tied up for once in a bun to allow air to her neck as the heat of the sunlight pressed down on her. She left her staff at home, but her sword was well-hidden under her clothing. She stared up at the pirate as he ordered people to empty their money and valuables into his bag. This had gone on enough, and it was time to intervene.
"Stop. You are in violation of the law, pirate. Surrender yourself now or your punishment will increase in severity."
The pirate stared.
"Shit, a marine."
He grabbed the bag and jerked it from the ground before hauling ass down the road, in which Reisha burst into a sprint after him. | [atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width:103px; padding: 0px; ] |

"The village is a rarely seen place with little to no trouble from pirates, its usually bandits which the local law takes care of. Give it a look see and report back by tomorrow!"
The Marines stood and saluted in unison to their commanding officer whom walked away after a moment of staring at them. They had docked at a port near Foosha village where their assignment was. The port they docked at was a normal marine sanctioned location where all other violators were detained for questioning. A few other ships had made their stop here as well for supplies and possibly a nice shore leave to let the Marines stretch in the country.
The three Marines assigned to the patrol made their way through a mountain pass which overlooked their assigned area for patrol. They were all Petty Officers given an assignment on their own to cooperate together without the aide of a commanding officer. One was Tomaka, tall simple black haired Marine, taller than the other two. He walked along the middle with his comrades on both sides of him making idle conversation. On the right there was Petty Officer Thomas Jennings, a small lanky marine whom was more suited for book work with glasses almost glued to his face. To the other side was someone as tall as Tomaka but very round and loud, Alfred Hanes.
The three officers came to the head of the path nearing the village and sighed relief now that their walk was over. They would probably enjoy the scenery for a while before jumping into anything for work.
"Lets take a breather and then get started on working the area. We're here till tomo-"
Tomaka was cut off due to some shouting off in the distance, a pirate?! Tomaka motioned for his fellow officers to take different spots to take cover at. They glanced around the corners of two buildings and Jennings took behind one barrel to see.
"A pirate? Here? This is suppose to be a remote area... "
His two comrades looked to him and were ready to charge in to take down the Pirate. They knew immediately they had the advantage in numbers but he was heavily armed...
A short moment after his announcement a woman stepped in to make her claim and it seemed as if she was attempting an arrest. Is she a marine? It was more than a moment that the man ran off and she gave chase. Tomaka and the others stood up ready to chase him with her but he stopped his two comrades.
"She's got him on his toes, lets head him off and make the arrest!"
The two nodded as the small group of Marines started to make chase in attempt to gain a better ground and head the Pirate off from ahead on the road by moving behind the buildings.

[atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,300,true][atrb=style,padding: 10px; border-radius: 0px;]Reisha really had a specific abhorrence for pirates. They were crude, immature, and above all else, criminals. They stole and wreaked havoc on innocent civilians, and they never did have the manners parents were expected to instill in a child. This instance only proved her point further. Here she was, in a nice and pleasant village, when a pirate had to make a fuss. He was going to rob these innocent people and then probably light the town on fire as he danced around the flames and laughed. It was despicable, really. Reisha worked for the things she got. These people earned their money. Why couldn't pirates do the same? The answer was quite obvious. They were evil and malicious.
Reisha didn't bother in calling out for the pirate to stop. She simply continued chasing him. He probably would have had a bigger lead if he didn't have that heavy bag of stolen money and valuables slung over his shoulder. That gun and sword probably weren't the lightest of weapons, either. Reisha huffed as she chased after the man. About a minute of running seemed to last for hours, and he headed for the hills. But much to the pirate's dismay, there were men already there. He stopped and swallowed before turning around, only to see Reisha.
He was trapped.
Quickly, he pulled out two pistols, one in each hand, and extended his arms out like wings. He pointed one gun at the men and one at Reisha, the bag having dropped at his feet. He sweated anxiously. One man against four marines? It didn't look very good.
"N-Now none of you take another step, ya hear! I won't hesitate in shooting you fuckin' military dogs!" | [atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width:103px; padding: 0px; ] |

Tomaka and his crew rushed behind the buildings and through a small alleyway. Tomaka had a strong lead with his longer legs, Thomas was following behind him able to hop over the small obstacles without much effort but Alfred was bumbling behind them bashing through crates and other small objects. Tomaka gave a glance back and sighed at his efforts to make it forward. "So much for surprise..." With luck the man was far too distracted to even consider that more Mariens were after him.
The trio somehow made it ahead of the two and up on a small hill that the road was leading to. Tomaka had his hand on his blade as he came near while the other two officers readied their rifles when he came to a stop. To their shock he brought out two weapons of his own, pistols that were aimed at him and the woman behind him. Tomaka let go of his blade and took a single step forward causing one of the pistols to be focused on him.
"Listen... you don't want to fire, as soon as one of those pistols goes off you're going to lose any chance you have at fixing this."
Tomaka had his hands up to show he meant no hostilities to the man. "You're out numbered here and desperate, just put the weapons down and you'll be left unharmed. I can't promise that though if you continue to struggle against us. And if you fire on us, you're starting a bad war with Marines."

Shopping, a simple task and generally something to enjoy. The bounty hunter had been among the civilians at the time of the incident, he was looking for general tools that he could put to use in his trade, but few were found. He didn't expect to find a whole lot, but his time spent in the small town had been short and he was in desperate need of medical supplies when he'd come in. Luckily he'd found some, and after having purchased them and put them somewhere safe, he'd come back to look for curiosities sake. His time was disrupted when a pirate decided to speak up and start his own little course of action for the day, deciding that now was the time to be greedy and stupid, all in one. As pissed as he could be, he wasn't, an easy bounty was never passed up or considered bad. This man had been unlucky enough to announce his criminal behavior in the site of several authorities and a bounty hunter, there couldn't be worse odds. This was the only thing that disappointed him slightly, he was in competition with a few marines. He had no issue, as long as he still got the bounty and something told him that this time he was going to be short. As soon as the first marine made her appearance known, the thief took to off in a hurry, his large form carrying quite swiftly for what it looked, but the marine looked to be just as fast, if not faster. Crimson didn't wait either, when the pirate fled for his freedom, the bounty hunter followed swiftly, but not directly. Rather than following the marine and taking the same path, he'd taken a parallel alleyway along some buildings. On the edge of the first building sat a pile of crates stacked up, what was inside was of no importance, but they still served their purpose. Logan sprinted towards the wall and leaped up onto the first crate he could reach, and then fluidly bounced higher onto another before finally jumping onto the roof. He was behind after making it onto the roof, but the buildings were close enough that he could vault between them. The tall hunter was quick and very agile, making it possible for him to follow while running along the rooftops. The chase lasted for a while, but eventually came to a stop. A quick glance below notified Crimson of the three additional marines to their cause. But that wasn't the only thing he noticed, after the pirate realized he was surrounded, he drew upon two pistols and took aim at the marines below. Logan was crouched above away from the edge of the rooftop, his head low enough to escape notice. The situation had just turned serious very quickly, Logan didn't want the marines to get the man for simple bounty reasons, but he never wanted one to die for that cause. Now he was in a position to make a difference, if he could find something that would get them all out of danger. His ears idly picked up the words tossed by the marine below to try and calm the aggressor, but his mind was focused on devising a plan to help. His weapons would prove nearly useless here, a single shot would alert the pirate to his position, and possibly shock the thief into firing upon the marines. Even if hit, there was a chance he would survive to then fire upon anyone. He had to go silently and swiftly, the only advantage he had was his height and surprise. Two powerful things in combat, but not enough alone to win any war or battle. He had little option, he wouldn't wait. Patience wasn't his forte, but he hoped he wasn't going to make things worse. Looking down, he noticed the pirates back was towards him, helping improve his chances of attacking successfully. He scuffled backwards slightly, giving himself room for a run-up. As silently but swiftly as he could manage, Crimson sprinted along the rooftop before leaping into the opening. In the air, his body was crouched and his arms and feet slightly extended forward, the jump itself had propelled him more forward than high, giving him less air-time and more distance. By crouching, he also decreased his body size, making it easier to miss. What was he planning once he smacked into the back of the pirate? Just to unbalance the man and hopefully remove the firearms from his hands from the impact alone.

[atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,300,true][atrb=style,padding: 10px; border-radius: 0px;]Reisha kept her eyes on the gun-wielding pirate. He seemed frantic, switching his eyes back and forth between the group of three ans Reisha. He was highly outnumbered, but he knew that having his guns already drawn put him at an advantage. The purple-haired woman said nothing and allowed Tomaka to use his approach. She was surprised, actually. Most marines were imbeciles and would rather use violent threats to get their way. But this was a civil and common sensical approach. He used a coaxing maneuver by explaining his situation and that he would be making a terrible choice. Now it was only up to the pirate's competence.
"I-I won't shoot if you all back off!"
Reisha narrowed her eyes. There would be no negotiations. Her staff had been left at home, but her sword was still behind her. Reaching her right arm behind her back, she slipped the sword slowly from under her shirt. The pirate seemed to be paying attention to the group of three more, which was an obvious choice. She took a few slow and precise steps toward the pirate, but before she could make a move, a blur of yellow zipped past her. Who in the hell...?! The blonde man smacked into the pirate, sending him onto his back. Reisha gritted her teeth. One of the guns had went skittering to the side, but he still clutched onto one, and a shot fired aimlessly skyward as the pirate struggled.
Reisha stomped down on the pirate's wrist and bent down, wriggling the gun free from the pirate's grip while she assumed the other marines would already be detaining him after the gun was free. Shifting her eyes to the bounty hunter, Reisha inspected him. This was no marine.
